Kei Matsukata Nguyen
Originally from Tokyo and based in Los Angeles, Kei is a visual artist and quilter with a background in fine arts, art therapy, and social work. In 2022, she began working with clay, drawn to its ability to loosen her perfectionist tendencies. Inspired by the Japanese Mingei Movement and contemporary American quilters, she creates ceramics at a community studio in Frogtown, Los Angeles.
